We live in an era where speed seems to be the supreme value. The men and women of today rush about, trapped in a rhythm that rarely allows them to pause and contemplate life. We have become prisoners of hurry: running after imposed goals, endless commitments, and clocks that dictate our every move.
Time, which once was a space for encounter, contemplation, and creation, has turned into an invisible cage. It forces us to live as if everything were urgent, as if stopping were an unforgivable loss. And yet, the more we run, the emptier we feel.
Hurry steals from us what is essential: the attentive gaze on the present, the ability to truly listen to others, the calm needed to enjoy small everyday gestures. Hurry robs us of silence—and within that silence lies the seed of clarity and inner peace.
Perhaps the greatest act of rebellion left to us is to slow down. To rediscover the value of the pause, to learn to walk instead of run, to give time instead of consuming it. Because whoever manages to escape from hurry, even for just a few moments, finds themselves.
Poem
Without a clock, without haste,
calmly must go
the human being,
for hurry brings
anxiety and fear.
Calm gives us Peace,
light, smiles, time, and those sacred instants
that together shape
the life of our...
!!! times!!
POEMA (Original Written in Spanish)
Sin relog, sin prisas,
tranquilo debe ir el
ser humano,
pues las prisas traen
ansiedad y miedo.
Calma nos regala Paz,
luz, sonrisas, tiempo, y esos instantes sagrados
que unidos conforman,
la vida de nuestros ...
