Unnatural melancholy darkness pervades
Hapless devices of fleeting thought;
The reign of Desire lingers and sustains:
This is what clouded minds wrought.
Pandemonium! Pandemonium! Pandemonium abounds
As craving and excess (fallen angels) leave mire after morass;
The Soul, docile in its piety, is mocked with barbed crowns,
As attempts to awaken are rendered futile, alas!
Forth comes the call of creed, in its silent resonance:
“Free yourself of want, nixing all sin and strife!”
So is the Soul roused by its newfound cognizance
And the weeds of pining razed to nurture the scion of life.
And so it goes! Day after day, as winters pass by an eon,
Who knows what the Soul may encounter as it journeys to Mount Zion?

Inner Demons
Poem "Inner Demons" skillfully paints a vivid picture of a mind consumed by despair and desire, descending into chaos. Initially, fleeting, melancholic thoughts dominate, fueled by persistent cravings that create a pandemonium of inner turmoil.

I love writing as I get to create something beautiful and touch others with my words in the process. I love the fact that I can create a whole new world, something no one else has ever seen. Writing helps me to escape reality and create new realities. At times, I also write stuff in those stories that I can never muster the courage to say in real life. It's my safe space. I can write whatever I am feeling and I can let it all out. It's also very therapeutic to me..
