Father

Blessing that descends from above,
Rain of grace in every step,
Divine hand that blesses us,
Light in the shadow, when the soul lasts.

Blessing in laughter, in tears,
In every day, in every moment,
Tender look of the eternal Father,
In his love, we are like Birds, taking flight.

Soft wind that caresses the soul,
Strength in the test, love that exalts,
Spring of life in discouragement
Living hope in uncertainty.

Blessing in the bread of each day,
In the embrace, in laughter,
Pure wealth in simplicity,
Life of love forever
Peace.

Father of Heaven, look at how life is,
War, hunger, sadness,
But YOU my beloved, with Your Look,
Bring to our path light, calm and peace.

Sindhu Gopalkrishnan
I love writing as I get to create something beautiful and touch others with my words in the process. I love the fact that I can create a whole new world, something no one else has ever seen. Writing helps me to escape reality and create new realities. At times, I also write stuff in those stories that I can never muster the courage to say in real life. It's my safe space. I can write whatever I am feeling and I can let it all out. It's also very therapeutic to me..
