Someone Someday Somewhere

In Someone Someday Somewhere, the poet captures the internal conflict of wanting connection while simultaneously pushing people away, creating a poignant tension between isolation and hope.

Poetry: Someone someday somewhere

I wish someone could hold me

Without any judgement and biased rays

Just when I feel tired

When I get overburdened

When I push everyone away

I wish someone could just say

'it's okay' in the midst of that darkness

Fading me away from everything

I wish I had someone to lean over

Someone to capture me without any disgrace

I don't know if I need someone

But I want someone at least to keep me safe

To make me laugh in the harsh times

To make me feel alive when I feel to die

As I wish, as I hope, as I believe

One day someone for sure

When I lend my hand towards

When I come forward

I wish someone could stare deep within me

In the depths I don't let anyone through

The pain drawn beneath

Hidden and concealed dramatically

Like someone could just show up for me

When my anger is uncontrollable

The rage within is unbearable

I wish someone could just sit beside

And feel the essence of my breaths

I hold inside,

Like a shower of storms

underlying under the front-end

of silence and calm

I am a writer, mother, and believer in the power of real, raw stories. I use words to create space for empathy, connection, and unfiltered conversations around life and parenthood. To make invisible feelings seen, one honest piece at a time.

I love writing as I get to create something beautiful and touch others with my words in the process. I love the fact that I can create a whole new world, something no one else has ever seen. Writing helps me to escape reality and create new realities. At times, I also write stuff in those stories that I can never muster the courage to say in real life. It's my safe space. I can write whatever I am feeling and I can let it all out. It's also very therapeutic to me..
