Poetry Collection — Life, Love, Books, Nature & Resilience

1. A Hug Not from Human

Expected to cover in a warm hand
Ended up crowded, to be called a bookworm
Wish to whisper in joint
But couldn’t jostle the thought of will
They may not, it will always
Wrap you in the thin blanket of paper
Filled with magic with which we
Escape this unpeaceful dream called
Reality

2. I Wish I Could Tell Her (Extract from Kaveeya’s Tamil Poem)

When the open and close of my lash
Results in you, my mother, as a flash
In the memories that will never pass
The desire to be born in the same womb
Till the earth gets to a dull doom
All I want is to lie and roll
In your lap, until I get cold
When a flesh enters with a cry
It is the sorry it tries
For the pain that almost caused her to die
From the world’s language
To the town’s slangage near a passage
A baby’s first “ba ba”
Is always followed by “ma ma ma”
No tree grows without seed
And you, the result of my good deed
And I will keep it till my last bead

3. A Pill Called Smile to Be Searched

When hit by a storm of endless tears
Caused by an ending of a smile that took years
Earns a price of an unshaken heart
Tears a smile apart from another part
Turning into a search for the pill of smile

4. When Water Is in Glitch

When the people are standing at a bridge
And the blue liquid raises to glitch
That will clash and dash
And leave the place ground vast
Cleaning it in a fast
Though no one to save
But some come brave
With paper and pen to tell
To collect help by ringing the bell
To the world that is glitch
And it will be its bridge

5. This Is Life

Starts are starts
Ends are ends
You don’t decide how it ends
But you decide how it starts
And it gives your desired end
So start smart

I love writing as I get to create something beautiful and touch others with my words in the process. I love the fact that I can create a whole new world, something no one else has ever seen. Writing helps me to escape reality and create new realities. At times, I also write stuff in those stories that I can never muster the courage to say in real life. It's my safe space. I can write whatever I am feeling and I can let it all out. It's also very therapeutic to me..
