Taylor announced 1989 (Taylor's Version) on August 9 on the Eras Tour, and subsequently revealed it on Instagram with the caption "Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor's Version) is on the way! The 1989 album altered my life in innumerable ways, and I'm thrilled to announce that my version will be released on October 27th. To be honest, the 5 From The Vault tunes are incredible. Therefore, this is my favorite re-record I've ever done. I can't believe they were ever abandoned. But not for much longer! On my website, you may pre-order 1989 (Taylor's Version).
